Day by Day Itinerary :

Date 1 : Chiang Mai
Day 01 Chiang Mai (Arrival Day)  (-, -, -)

Meet and greet at Chiang Mai International Airport and transfer to the selected hotel or resort (the rest of the evening will be free at leisure or take an optional tour to Khan Toke Dinner with Cultural Performances).

Date 2 : Chiang Mai - Tha Ton
Day 02 Chiang Mai – Tha Ton(B, L, D)

After breakfast, depart to Chiang Rai via Tha Ton Route and the first stop will be Chiang Dao Elephant Training Center. Upon arrival, you will be able to see elephant daily bathing in the river and after that, the demonstration of using the elephant in the logging trade and the elephant’s intelligent will be started. After that, experience on 1 hour elephant ride through the jungle and into the river. After lunch, relax with the bamboo raft down the river along the pure scenic (appx. 45 min.) and then, continue the trip to Tha Ton. Along the way, make a visit to one of the huge limestone cave, with a numerous beautiful shape of stalagmite and stalactite, before continue a 1 hour drive to the city of Tha Ton. Upon arrival, visit Tha Ton Temple where you can see the rest of valley of Tha Ton from its terrace and then, check in at the resort and dinner will be served at the local restaurant.

 Date 3 : Tha Ton - Chiang Rai
Day 03 Tha Ton – Doi Tung – Golden Triangle (B, L, -)

Breakfast at the resort’s restaurant on the bank of Kok River and after check out, board on the long tailed boat trip along Kok River to one of hill tribes’ community called Ruam Mit Karen Village and the nearby Lahu, Lizu and Akha Village where you can explore and learn about the difference of their ways of life. After that, continue the trip to Chiang Rai (lunch will be served at the local restaurant) and to Doi Tung where the Princess Mother’s Royal Chalet (Swiss chalet style) and Mae Fah Luang Garden located on. In the late afternoon, drive back to Chiang Rai City and check in at the hotel. In the evening, dinner at the local restaurant and explore Chiang Rai Night Bazaar on your own pace.

Date 4 : Chiang Rai - Chiang Mai
Day 04 Golden Triangle – Chiang Mai (Departure)

After breakfast, drive to the oldest city in Chiang Rai (Chiang Saen), where was the home town of King Meng Rai who was built Chiang Rai & Chiang Mai and then, take a tram ride throughout the city of Chiang Sean together with a visit of Wat Chedi Luang to discover the legend of Chiang Sean Kingdom. Then, drive up to Golden Triangle Viewpoint to see the area that three countries meets and visit Hall of Opium (one of the great opium museum in Thailand) to understand the opium circle and drug trade together with the history of the opium in South East Asia through the great exhibition and display with fully light and sound system. After lunch, drive back to Chiang Mai and make a stop at Wat Rong Khun (White Temple) and then, continue the trip back to Chiang Mai.
